Sidekick With 3-Speed A/T

  1. Apply parking brake. Disconnect 2-terminal harness connector at transmission range switch. Connect ohmmeter between terminals on transmission range switch.
  2. Continuity should exist with shift lever in Park and Neutral. Continuity should not exist with shift lever in any other gears. If continuity is not as specified, adjust or replace switch as necessary.
