DTC 86: EBCM Turned On The Brake Warning Light: Description

Any ABS mechanical DTC that issues a command to illuminate "BRAKE" warning light will also result in DTC 86 being stored in EEPROM during shut down.

Repair any DTCs are currently set with DTC 86. Clear DTCs. See CLEARING CODES . If only DTC 86 is set, cause is due to vehicle transient voltages. Clear DTCs.
