Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor

CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR VOLTAGE (1)

Application PCM Connector/Terminal No. Volts
Sidekick 1.6L & X-90
With 3-Speed A/T Or M/T B/3 & Ground (2) 0-5.25
With 4-Speed A/T D/3 & Ground (2) 0-5.25
Sidekick 1.8L
With M/T B/3, B/4, B/5 & Ground (3) 0-6
With A/T D/10, D/11, D/22, D/23 & Ground (3) 0-6
(1) Measured at PCM with ignition on.
(2) Voltage toggles from 0-1 volt to 3-5.25 volts as distributor rotor is turned slowly.
(3) Voltage toggles from 0-1 volt to 4-6 volts as crankshaft is turned slowly.
