Overdrive & TCC Off Command Signal Circuit Check
- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (CC ECU) harness connector. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 3 (Pink/Blue wire on Esteem; Pink/Green wire on Sidekick 1.8L and X90). See Figure . Voltage should be 10-14 volts.
- If voltage is not within specification, check fuses, Pink/Blue or Pink/Green wires and harness connectors to Transmission Control Module (TCM). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair fuses, wiring or harness connectors as necessary. If fuses, wiring and connectors are okay, substitute known good Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and retest.
