Governor Assembly

GOVERNOR ASSEMBLY AND ADAPTER CASE (4WD MODEL) OR EXTENSION CASE (2WD MODEL)





1. With seal ring coated with transmission fluid, insert governor assembly into transmission case and fit retaining ring securely.
1-1 For 2WD, fit retainer ring (circlip) and [1][2]speedometer driven gear and then fit the other retainer ring (circlip) securely.





2. Place a new gasket, install adapter case (4WD) or extension case (2WD) and tighten its 7 bolts to specified torque.

Tightening Torque (a): 31 Nm (3.1 kg-m, 23 ft. lbs.)
