Removal & Installation
- Disconnect negative battery cable. On Sidekick and X-90, remove driver's seat and Heated Oxygen Sensor 2 (HO2S2) harness access plug from floor pan. On Esteem, remove center console. On all models, raise and support vehicle. Unplug harness connector and remove HO2S2 from exhaust pipe.
- To install HO2S2, coat threads with anti-seize compound. Tighten HO2S2 to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
. Connect negative battery cable. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. After installing HO2S2, start engine and check for exhaust leaks.
