Oil Pressure Sending Unit Test

NOTE: Ensure oil pressure is within specification before proceeding with this test.
NOTE: Replace oil pressure sending unit if any signs of oil 4 leakage exists.

Disconnect oil pressure sending unit harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between sending unit terminal and ground. Continuity should exist with engine stopped. Continuity should not exist when engine is running. If continuity is not as specified, replace oil pressure sending unit.
