- To check positive rectifier, connect ohmmeter leads between "B" terminal and each rectifier terminal. Note continuity reading. See Fig 1
.
- Reverse ohmmeter leads and note continuity reading. Continuity should exist with ohmmeter leads in one direction, and no continuity should exist when ohmmeter leads are reversed. Replace rectifier if continuity is not as specified.
- To check negative rectifier, connect ohmmeter leads between each negative terminal and each rectifier terminal. Note continuity reading. See Fig 1
.
- Reverse ohmmeter leads and note continuity reading. Continuity should exist with ohmmeter leads in one direction, and no continuity should exist when ohmmeter leads are reversed. Replace rectifier if continuity is not as specified.
