Clearing Trouble Codes
With scan tool connected to DLC, turn ignition off, then on. Erase DTCs following scan tool manufacturer's instructions. DTC and freeze frame information may also be erased in the following cases:
- Disconnecting negative battery cable, removing fuse or disconnecting PCM harness connectors.
- Stored DTC is not detected again during 40 engine warm-up cycles.
