NOTE:
Before retrieving trouble codes, ensure battery is fully charged for proper self-diagnostic system operation. Perform PCM On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) system check before retrieving trouble codes. See PCM ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD) SYSTEM CHECK
. Trouble codes must be cleared from PCM memory once repairs have been performed. See CLEARING TROUBLE CODES

NOTE:
If a trouble code cannot be retrieved, and a transmission fault is present, perform manual shifting test to determine if fault is caused by an electrical or mechanical related problem. See MANUAL SHIFTING TEST
under TRANSMISSION SHIFT TESTING.
