DTC P0101: Mass Airflow (MAF) Circuit Performance Problem

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Start engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature. Select MAF SENSOR FLOW RATE parameter on scan tool. Increase engine speed to 2500 RPM. Display on scan tool should read .66-1.32 lb/min. Return engine to idle. Display on scan tool should read .20-.53 lb/min. If voltage is not as specified, replace MAF sensor. Retest system. If voltage is as specified, check for an intermittent problem or faulty PCM. See TESTS W/O CODES article.
