Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Raise and support vehicle. Remove sensor cover from differential carrier. Disconnect harness connector from sensor. Remove mounting bolt and sensor. Replace O-ring if damaged. Ensure speed sensor tooth is free from any metal particles. To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply sealant to sensor and coat O-ring with differential oil. Tighten mounting bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
