Voltage Load Test

Using Tech 1 or Suzuki scan tool, perform voltage load test following manufacturer's instructions. This test will monitor ignition voltage and switched battery voltage to EBCM. If only one of these 2 inputs drops below 10 volts during testing, high resistance may be present in that power feed circuit. If both inputs drop below 10 volts, diagnose vehicle electrical system. In either case, scan tool will display "VOLTAGE LOAD TEST FAILED".
