Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (Cc Ecu)/Actuator
Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (CC ECU) is built into the actuator. Cruise control actuator uses a cable to operate the throttle according to signal provided by CC ECU to control vehicle speed. Cruise control actuator is located in the engine compartment.
The CC ECU is a microprocessor which uses input signals from various switches and sensors for controlling the cruise control system operating functions. These functions include: maintaining a constant speed, resuming a constant speed, accelerating, coasting, limiting maximum/minimum speed and canceling cruise control system operation. The CC ECU is located in different locations and contains an 12-pin harness connector. See Figure .
