Sidekick 1.8L & X90

  1. Apply parking brake. Place shift lever in Neutral. Transmission range switch is located on side of transmission. See Fig 2 .
  2. Loosen transmission range switch retaining bolt. Rotate transmission range switch so neutral reference line aligns with groove on the shaft. Tighten transmission range switch bolts. Ensure engine starts only with shift lever in Park and Neutral.
