Abs Actuator Assembly

ABS actuator assembly is located at left rear side of engine compartment. See Figure . ABS actuator consists of hydraulic modulator and motor pack assembly. Hydraulic modulator consists of solenoid and check ball for shutting off brake circuit, and piston and ball screws that are driven by motor pack. Motor pack assembly consists of 3 DC motors that drive piston and ball screws. One motor is used for each front wheel and third motor drives ball screw for both rear wheels.
