Transmission Range Switch Adjustment (A/T): Esteem

Apply parking brake. Place shift lever in Neutral. Transmission range switch is located on top of transaxle just below shift cable. See Figure .
Loosen transmission range switch retaining bolts. Rotate shift so neutral reference line aligns with center line on manual valve shaft. See Figure . Tighten transmission range switch retaining bolts. Ensure engine starts only with shift lever in Park and Neutral.
