Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

Removal
1) Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2) Disconnect IAT sensor coupler.
3) Remove IAT sensor from air cleaner.

Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following.
- Clean mating surface of sensor and air cleaner.
- Use new gasket.





- Tighten IAT sensor to specified torque.

Tightening Torque
(a): 15 Nm (1.5 kg-m, 11.0 lb-ft)

- Connect sensor coupler securely.
