Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Check

MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) CHECK



1) Turn ON ignition switch (but the engine at stop) and check that MIL lights.
If MIL does not light up, go to "Diagnostic Flow Chart A-1" for troubleshooting.
A-1 MIL Does Not Illuminate

2) Start engine and check that MIL turns OFF.
If MIL remains ON, and no DTC is stored in ECM, go to "Diagnostic Flow Chart A-2" for troubleshooting.
A-2 MIL Remains "ON" After Engine Start
