Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures

LOW BRAKING FORCE
1. Fluid leakage from brake lines and/or hoses.
2. Air in brake system.
3. Malfunctioning wheel cylinder and/or caliper assembly.

BRAKE PULL
1. Malfunctioning wheel cylinder and/or caliper assembly.
2. Loose calipers.
3. Restricted brake line or hose.

EXCESS PEDAL TRAVEL
1. Partial brake system failure.
2. Insufficient fluid in master cylinder reservoirs.
3. Air in system.

DRAGGING BRAKES
1. Master cylinder pistons not returning correctly.
2. Restricted brake line or hose.
3. Wheel cylinder or caliper piston sticking.

BRAKE WARNING LIGHT ON OR FLASHING AFTER ENGINE START
1. Insufficient fluid in master cylinder reservoirs.
2. Fluid leakage from brake lines and/or hoses.

BRAKE WARNING LIGHT ON WITH BRAKE PEDAL APPLIED
1. Insufficient fluid in master cylinder reservoirs.
2. Fluid leakage from brake lines and/or hoses.
