Cruise Control Main Switch Circuit Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect harness connector at CC ECU. Turn ignition on. Turn cruise control main switch to ON position. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 16 (Light Green/White wire). SeeFigure . Voltage should be 10-14 volts.
  2. If voltage is not within specification, check wiring and harness connectors. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair wiring or harness connectors as necessary.
  3. If wiring and harness connectors are okay, check cruise control main switch. See CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
