Throttle Valve (T.V.) Cable: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. After connecting cable to accelerator cable, check and adjust cable free play. See Fig 1.
- With cable cover removed, adjust clearance "A" to specification by turning adjusting nuts "B". Adjusting nuts "C" can be used for adjustment (if necessary). On 1997 models, clearance is .020" (.51 mm). On 1998-99 models, clearance is .04" (1 mm). On all models, tighten adjusting nuts and install cable cover.
