DTC 65: Rear Motor Circuit Shorted To Ground: Description

  1. If DTC 65 occurs intermittently, seDIAGNOSTIC AIDS . If DTC is currently set, turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect 6-pin harness connector from motor pack on ABS actuator. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 4 (Pink wire) on motor pack harness connector. If resistance is infinite, go to next step. If resistance is not infinite, repair Pink wire for short to ground.
  2. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 3 (Pink/Black wire) on motor pack harness connector. If resistance is infinite, go to next step. If resistance is not infinite, repair Pink/Black wire for short to ground.
  3. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 4 on motor pack component connector. If resistance is infinite, replace EBCM. If resistance is not infinite, replace motor pack.
