Heater System: Description

WARNING: To avoid injury from accidental air bag deployment, read and follow all SERVICE PRECAUTIONS and DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM procedures in AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section.

The heater system delivers fresh outside air or recirculated compartment air to passenger compartment. Airflow passes through heater unit, and is warmed and distributed to selected passenger compartment outlets. Airflow control lever distributes air to desired outlets. Temperature control lever regulates temperature of delivered air. Blower motor is controlled by sliding blower speed control lever to one of 4 speeds.
