Park/Neutral Position Switch (A/T)
NOTE:
Park/neutral position switch may also be referred to as transmission range switch.
- Apply parking brake. Disconnect harness connector at park/neutral position switch, located on side of transmission. See Figure .
- Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals at park/neutral position switch with shift lever in specified positions. See PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS table. If continuity is not as specified, adjust or replace switch as necessary.
