Removal & Installation

Relay is located under right side of instrument panel, above junction block. See Figure. Disconnect negative battery terminal. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in STEERING COLUMN article under STEERING. Remove left kick trim panel. Disconnect all junction block electrical connectors and ABS check relay connector. Remove junction block. Remove bolt and relay. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
