Vehicle Speed Sensor
- Remove combination meter from instrument panel. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between terminals No. 4 and 10 while rotating speedometer cable shaft with a screwdriver. SeeFig 1 .
- Ohmmeter reading should fluctuate from no continuity to continuity 4 times per revolution of speedometer cable shaft. Replace vehicle speed sensor if defective.
