Test C: Abs Warning Light Flashes Constantly

  1. Locate Black diagnostic connector No. 2 on left side of engine compartment. If jumper wire is installed between diagnostic switch terminal and ground terminal, go to step  3 . If jumper wire is not installed between diagnostic switch terminal and ground terminal, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between Black diagnostic connector No. 2 diagnostic switch terminal and good chassis ground point. See Fig 1 . If battery voltage is present, substitute a known-good ABS control module and recheck. If battery voltage is not present, repair Pink/Black wire for short to ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  3. Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light flashes DTC 12 or any history code, ABS warning light is operating properly. If ABS warning light does not flash DTC 12 or any history code, substitute a known-good ABS control module and recheck.
