Brake Switch Circuit Check
- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect harness connector at CC ECU. Depress brake pedal. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 4 (Green/White wire) with brake pedal depressed. SeeFig 1
. Voltage should be 10-14 volts.
- If voltage is not within specification, check fuses, wiring and harness connectors. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Repair fuses, wiring or harness connectors as necessary.
- If fuses, wiring and harness connectors are okay, check brakelight switch. See BRAKELIGHT SWITCH TEST
under COMPONENT TESTS.
