Throttle Valve Opening Signal Circuit Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect harness connector at CC ECU. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 2 (Pink/Blue wire) while opening and closing the throttle. SeeFigure . Voltage should vary as throttle is opened and closed.
  2. If voltage does not vary with opening and closing of throttle, check fuses, wiring and harness connectors. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Replace fuses, repair wiring or harness connectors as necessary.
