Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system. See the AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. Remove glove box and instrument panel support. Remove relays and relay bracket from blower motor case.
  2. Remove blower motor electrical connector. Disconnect fresh air control cable from blower motor case. See Fig 1 . Remove blower motor screws and blower motor from case. To install, reverse removal procedure.
