DTC P0335: Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor CKT Malfunction
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect PCM harness connectors. On models with 3-speed automatic or manual transmission, measure resistance between PCM harness connector "B", terminals No. 16 (Orange/Blue wire) and No. 17 (White/Blue wire). On models with 4-speed automatic transmission, measure resistance between PCM harness connector "C", terminals No. 8 (Orange/Blue wire) and No. 9 (White/Blue wire). If resistance is 360-460 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not as specified, go to step 3).
- Check CKP sensor installation and condition of teeth on crankshaft pulley. Repair as necessary. If CKP sensor and crankshaft pulley are okay, check for poor connections at PCM. Repair as necessary. If PCM connections are okay, replace PCM. Retest system.
- Disconnect CKP sensor harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between CKP sensor terminals. If resistance is 360-460 ohms, repair open in CKP sensor circuit. If resistance is not as specified, replace CKP sensor. Retest system.
