With 4-Speed A/T
- Apply parking brake. Disconnect harness connector at park/neutral position switch, located on side of transmission. See Fig 1 .
- Note terminal identification on park/neutral position switch. See Fig 1 . Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals with shift lever in specified positions. See PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS (4-SPEED) table. If continuity is not as specified, adjust or replace switch as necessary.
