Set/Coast, ACCEL/Resume & Cancel Switch Circuit Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect harness connector at CC ECU. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 12 (Light Green/Red wire) with ACCEL/RESUME switch in ON position. SeeFigure . Continuity should exist.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between ground and CC ECU terminal No. 13 (Light Green/Black wire) with SET/COAST switch in ON position. Continuity should exist.
  3. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between ground and CC ECU terminal No. 1 (Light Green/Yellow wire) with CANCEL switch in ON position. Continuity should exist.
  4. If no continuity exists in any designated switch position, check wiring and harness connectors. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair wiring or harness connectors as necessary.
  5. If wiring and harness connectors are okay, check SET/COAST, ACCEL/RESUME & CANCEL SWITCH. See SET/COAST, ACCEL/RESUME & CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
