Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Disconnect throttle position sensor connector from vehicle harness and measure resistance at connector of throttle position sensor.
At closed throttle:
Terminals 1-4 resistance value: 4.25-8.25 kohms
Terminals 2-4 resistance value: 0.3-6.3 kohms
At full throttle:
Terminals 2-4 resistance value: 3.5-10.3 kohms

CAUTION: Perform this inspection with engine stopped after it has been warmed up.
