Torque Converter Clutch Relay: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove TCC relay with ignition switch OFF.
2. Check resistance between each two terminals. If check results are as specified above, proceed to next operation check, if not replace.
Between terminals 2 and 4: infinity
Between terminals 1 and 3: 90-110 ohms.





3. Check that there is continuity between terminals 2 and 4 when battery is connected to terminals 1 and 3. If found defective, replace.
4. Install relay and connect its coupler securely.
