DTC P0741: TCC Solenoid Performance: Testing

  1. Check TCC solenoid operation. See SOLENOIDS  under COMPONENT TESTING. Replace if necessary. If TCC solenoid is in good condition, go to next step.
  2. Check TCC control valve in valve body for smooth operation. Ensure fluid passages are unrestricted. See ON-VEHICLE SERVICE and COMPONENT DISASSEMBLY & REASSEMBLY in appropriate overhaul article. Repair as necessary. If no problems are found, replace torque converter.
