Mode (Heater) Control Lever
The mode control lever controls the flow of air into the vehicle. See Figure . Lever positions are indicated by standard icons on the front of the control panel. When mode control lever is in the ventilation position, air is discharged from the center and side outlets of the instrument panel. When lever is in the bi-level position, air is discharged from the floor, center and side outlets.
When mode control lever is in heat position, heated air is discharged from the floor outlets only. In heat and defrost position, heated air is discharged from floor outlets and windshield and side defroster outlets. When lever is in the defrost position, heated air is discharged from the windshield and side defroster outlets.
