Oil Pump: Reassembly

  1. Using Bearing Installer (09944-66020 ) and a hammer, install pump body oil seal. Apply grease to oil seal lip. Apply ATF to drive and driven pump gears. Install gears into pump body. Install stator shaft subassembly to pump body. Install and alternately tighten 8 Torx bolts to 108 INCH lbs. (12.2 N.m).
  2. Install 2 NEW sealing rings to stator shaft. Apply ATF to clutch drum thrust washer and install. Using 2 screw drivers, turn drive gear and ensure rotation is smooth.
