Counter Driven Gear: Reassembly
- Using a press, press differential drive pinion onto counter driven gear. Apply ATF to inner surface of cylindrical roller bearing. Using Bushing Remover (09951-46010
), press cylindrical roller bearing onto differential drive pinion.
- Using Counter Driven Gear Socket (09927-26010
), install and tighten NEW VSS lock nut to 91 ft. lbs. (123 N.m). Using a staking tool and hammer, stake lock nut.
- Apply ATF to thrust needle roller bearings and races. Install into transaxle case. Install counter driven gear assembly into transaxle case.
