Fail-Safe Mode

TCM substitutes fail-safe values when various input or output devices are malfunctioning. See FAIL-SAFE VALUE IDENTIFICATION  table.

(1) Reverse Inhibit Control prohibits engagement of reverse gear when vehicle is moving forward even when gear selector lever is moved to "R".
