Test A: Abs Warning Light Inoperative

  1. Check ABS diode and ABS control module harness connectors for secure, tight connection. Repair as required. Turn ignition on. If other warning lights operate, go to next step. If none of the warning lights operate, check IG fuse. Replace fuse if necessary. If fuse is okay, repair open Black/White wire between IG fuse and instrument cluster (combination meter). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  2. Remove instrument cluster (combination meter). Check ABS warning light bulb. Replace bulb if necessary. If ABS bulb is okay, repair open Red/Blue wire between instrument cluster (combination meter) and ABS control module 26-pin harness connector E23 terminal No. 19. See Fig 1 . See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
