Shift Switch Circuit Check (A/T)

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect harness connector at CC ECU. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 14 (Black/Red wire) with shift lever in Park or Neutral. SeeFigure . Continuity should exist.
  2. If no continuity exists, check wiring and harness connectors. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair wiring or harness connectors as necessary.
  3. If wiring and harness connectors are okay, check shift switch. See SHIFT SWITCH (A/T) TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
