Cruise Control Actuator Circuit Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect harness connector at CC ECU. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between CC ECU harness connector terminals No. 3 (Gray/Red wire) and terminal No. 7 (Gray wire). SeeFigure . Resistance should be 12-18 ohms.
  2. If resistance is not within specification, check wiring and harness connectors. See appropriate wiring diagram under WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair wiring or harness connectors as necessary.
  3. If wiring and harness connectors are okay, check cruise control actuator. See CRUISE CONTROL ACTUATOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
