Park/Neutral Position Switch (A/T)
NOTE:
Park/neutral position switch may also be referred to as transmission range switch.
- Apply parking brake. Disconnect harness connector at park/neutral position switch, located on top of transaxle, just below shift cable.
- Note terminal identification on park/neutral position switch. See Fig 1 . Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals with shift lever in specified position. See PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS table. If continuity is not as specified, adjust or replace switch as necessary.
