Description & Operation
Power steering gear is an integral type consisting of rack and pinion gears, control valve unit and hydraulic pressure cylinder. Belt-driven oil pump is a constant delivery vane type. On some models, an air control valve increases idle speed when power steering pump pressure exceeds 213-284 psi (15-20 kg/cm2 ).
