Driver-Side Inflator Module: Removal
- Disable SIR system. See procedures under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Straighten front wheels of vehicle and disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove steering wheel side trim cover and disconnect 2 horn wire connectors. Remove 2 Torx head retaining screws from driver-side inflator module and remove inflator module from vehicle.
