Input Shaft Assembly: Reassembly

  1. Press on RH bearing. Install 3rd and 4th gear needle bearing, apply oil and install 3rd gear and synchronizer ring.
  2. Install high speed sleeve and hub assembly. Ensure synchronizer ring slots are aligned with keys in sleeve and hub assembly. Check for free rotation of 3rd gear.
  3. Install snap ring. Ensure snap ring is installed in groove securely. Install needle bearing, apply oil and install synchronizer ring and 4th gear. Using Bearing Installer (Geo J-34844, Suzuki 09925-98221), drive on LH bearing and 5th gear spacer.
