Passenger-Side Inflator Module: Removal

Before proceeding, read air bag service precautions section. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Passenger-side inflator module is located on right side of instrument panel. Disconnect negative battery cable. Open glove box. While pressing glove box stopper, pull out glove box from instrument panel. Remove 5 bottom screws and 2 upper bolts from passenger-side inflator module. Remove inflator module from instrument panel. See Fig 1 .
