3-Speed A/T

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Place shift lever in Neutral. Remove lock nut and disconnect shift cable from shift lever on side of transmission.
  2. Loosen shift switch retaining bolt. Rotate shift switch fully clockwise. Rotate shift switch counterclockwise until resistance is felt. Tighten shift switch retaining bolt to 16 ft. lbs. (22 N.m).
  3. Reinstall shift cable. Ensure shift lever operates correctly and engine will only start with shift lever in Park and Neutral.
